We knew early on this Whimsical Brooklyn Garden Wedding could only take place in Brooklyn’s most famous gardens, the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Pastels, succulents, and vibrant blooms are a perfect way to sum up this bright wedding for Andrew and Sara.
Sara began her day in Hotel Indigo. Starting the morning in floral robes gave Sara and her bridesmaids the beginning of the garden filled day to come. After the ladies were pampered with Hair and Makeup from Ombre by EJ, it was time to get dressed and begin the wedding day! But not before capturing shots of the stunning invitation suite Elephant Limbo had created including a watercolor painting of the venue to give guests a taste of what was to come, a whimsical Brooklyn Garden wedding.
The Couple along with Trisha Jay Photography headed over to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens where Trisha captured a giggly first look for the couple at the Botanical Gardens that started off their day together. A Lily Among Thorns brought the garden theme to life with early summer blooms and light whimsical greenery in all the floral details. Lining aisle arrangements, and free standing pillars for the ceremony gave the garden the pop it deserved. The ceremony began with WeddinGigs performing with a cellist and violinist as Andrew and the wedding party came down the aisle. Ending with radiant Sara in her Essense of Australia gown from Kleinfeld Bridal. After saying their I do’s Sara and Andrew walked back down the aisle and were surrounded by a shower of bubbles from their guests.
Welcoming guests into cocktail hour was a welcome sign including the same venue watercolor from Elephant Limbo from their invite and drinks and apps by Union Square Events. Succulents were brought in as wedding favors that also led the guests to their seats. A little piece of the Whimsical Brooklyn Wedding to take home at night.
Guests were then led inside where Broadway Rentals covered the tables in beautiful green floral patterned linens and pastel pink napkins to bring the garden indoors. The florals covered the tables and created a personal whimsical meadow around the couple’s sweetheart table. Dinner was served, toasts were given and then it was time to dance. Finishing the night off with Late night bites and Jay McElfresh Events bringing the dance floor to life. Unfortunately the garden needed to sleep as well, so the Whimsical Brooklyn Garden Wedding eventually came to and end and Andrew and Sara were able to return home as husband and wife.
