As the sun dipped low over the Manhattan skyline, casting a warm golden glow across Brooklyn, guests gathered at the Wythe Hotel for a wedding that was nothing short of magical. The air was filled with the scent of freshly cut flowers and the gentle melody of a live string quartet, creating an ambiance that perfectly complemented the garden party theme of the evening. Courtney and Matt’s wedding day was an elegant, timeless, love-filled event and was perfectly unique to their love story.

Nestled in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, the Wythe Hotel is renowned for its industrial chic vibe. For this special occasion, the hotel’s garden was transformed into a lush oasis, complete with cascading greenery, bistro lights, and vibrant blooms in shades of blush pink, ivory, orange and blue. Long wooden tables were adorned with elegant floral centerpieces and delicate candlelight, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere. The couple shared a private first look and exchanged vows on the balcony of their suite, within the privacy of themselves. Of course, this beautiful moment was captured by Rebecca Ou Photography and Mckenzie Miller Films. Our bride, Courtney, radiant in a flowing ballgown adorned with gorgeous floral appliqués, walked down the aisle to the beautiful strings of the Highline Quartet to meet her handsome groom, Matt. Thanks to the amazing team at TL Brides, Courtney’s glam was glowing all day into the night. Surrounded by their favorite people in this world, they exchanged vows surrounded by their closest friends and family. It was a heartfelt and joyous moment, filled with laughter and happy tears. In front of the gorgeous altar pillars by Rosehip Social, Courtney and Matt shared their first kiss as husband and wife! Following the ceremony, guests were treated to a culinary feast that celebrated the flavors of summer. The hotel’s chefs crafted a menu featuring seasonal dishes, specialty cocktails, and decadent desserts that delighted the senses. While the couple enjoyed an hour of alone time, guests were able to catch up with each other and enjoy the grazing table and delicious drinks in the garden, as the quartet set the vibe of an elegant garden party.

Upon entering the reception space, guests were greeted with a beautiful welcome sign and seating chart, created by the talented Write Pretty For Me, a gorgeous ceiling treatment completed with greenery and baby’s-breath clouds, and candlelit tables stretching the length of the room. Courtney and Matt got a private preview of the room before guests were allowed in, and this is always our favorite part of the day! The couple gets to see what they put all their money towards come together, and this couple was speechless when they walked into the room. From the table setting rental items provided by Broadway Rentals to the centerpieces by Rosehip, to the ceiling lighting by ULS, we really had a dream team of vendors. Again, being followed around by such talented photo and video teams paid off, as they got the best reaction! The couple chose this private moment to cut their cake, which was a great idea in hindsight because they had more time to party, and none of the guests even noticed. Guests were finally let into the space and while dinner was being prepared, Courtney and Matt shared a romantic first dance. Between courses to fill the downtime, they took our recommendation to have parent dances happen at this time so there was never a dull moment for the guest’s entertainment. Shortly after dinner, Courtney had a chic dress change as the seasoned DJ Tim Martell started to light up the dance floor back out in the garden. Flux Photobooth was set up in the garden to capture the most fun moments of the guests for the couple to look back on. As if the dinner and dessert station weren’t enough, the couple opted for pizza to be delivered to the venue for a late-night snack, and this is always the vibe. The couple danced the night away with their very best friends and families, and reflected on the beauty of their long awaited wedding day—a day filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories.

As guests departed, they carried with them not only the memories of a beautiful celebration but also the spirit of summer captured in every detail of the event. The garden party wedding at Wythe Hotel was not just a union of two souls but a joyful celebration of life, love, and the magic of a summer evening in the heart of Brooklyn. Thank you to Courtney and Matt for trusting us with planning your most special day, we were honored to be a part of it!
