Spring has sprung and with it came Robin and Sam’s wonderful Spring NYC Wedding!

Robin and her family began the morning getting ready with Beauty Icon’s team, in a beautiful suite in the Crosby St. Hotel. With manikins lining the room wearing her many wedding weekend dresses, it felt like her own personal bridal showroom. After bridal portraits were taken, close ups of Brent Neale bridal jewelry and detail shots of the custom wedding invites done by Elephant Limbo had been captured it was time to make their way to the Prospect Park Boathouse.

In an iconic New York bride moment, Robin threw on her Chanel bridal slingbacks and hiked up her Lily of the Valley Monique Lhuillier gown to cross the New York City block and make her way to her wedding carriage. Since this is a Spring NYC Wedding however her Cinderella carriage was in fact a trolley from the New York Trolley Company. Robin and family made their way to meet Robin’s soon to be husband in style, crossing the bridge to the Prospect Park Boathouse with the spring air flowing and fabulous views of the cherry blossoms. In front of the Boathouse’s beautiful stone facade, looking dapper in his Suit Supply suit, Sam was waiting for her where Sophie Kaye Photography and James Liu Films captured an emotional first look. While Robin and Sam were united for the first time of the day, A Lily Among Thorns floral team was transforming the Boathouses’ steps into a flowing floral aisle.

As the ceremony began, the wedding party walked down the aisle with harp and violin serenading by Stephanie Babirak to handpicked Taylor Swift Songs. The sun was shining as the couple exchanged vows with emotion that had everyone in happy tears.Cocktail hour began and the guests were eager to take a peek at the custom escort wall by The Loft Design Studio. Robin and Sam had handwritten each guest note and stuffed them in ombre scripted envelopes to find their seating arrangements. These envelopes were then replaced with notes the guests could write Robin and Sam back during the cocktail hour, a true crowd pleaser!

Inside the boathouse walls, tables, chairs and beautiful glassware were brought in from Broadway Rentals. Pastel floral, alternating pastel colored napkins, and custom menus from The Loft Design studio created an ethereal Spring NYC Wedding setting. A family style dinner was served by Puslane’s catering team as speeches from family were shared. To kick off the party Robin and Sam cut their beautiful custom cake from Nine cakes topped with edible flowers, and got everyone to the dance floor with the Hora. The hit of the night was the photobooth station from Flux Photobooth. The guests ended the perfect Spring NYC Wedding with a send off from DJ Ben Boylan to Taylor Swift’s Romeo and Juliet and a personalized chocolate box favor from LA Burdick to take home!
