Working in the events industry, the past few years have been wild to say the very least. With micro weddings happening throughout 2020, to weddings being postponed for 1, 2, and even 3 years. We have worked with so many incredible couples, who through all the misfortune the last few years have brought, have prevailed to create the celebration of their dreams – FINALLY! Jessica and Neal are no exception to this, as they were married in a very small ceremony in their back yard in April of 2020. Fast forward three years, and Jess and Neal were able to tie the knot once again in a stunning ceremony at the Glasshouse Chelsea in front of all their family and friends – and their puppy Mia! We were so honored to be a part of their journey to the altar.

The Ceremony

Located amidst the bustling streets of New York City, the Glasshouse Chelsea stands as a captivating oasis. With its floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking views of the city skyline, it provides the perfect backdrop for a wedding that seamlessly blends urban chic with natural elegance. As Jessica and Neal exchanged vows within this enchanting venue, their love story unfolded against the backdrop of a city that never sleeps. Their ceremony was officiated by Celine from Honeybreak Officiants and had the guests, and the couple, in tears, as they finally got to proclaim their love for their family and friends. What made this wedding truly memorable were the personal touches that reflected the couple’s unique journey. From the bookshelf of the couples most memorable moments captured in photos, to their little dog Mia being the fearless ringbearer, every detail showcased their personalities and the love they shared. The couple walked back down the aisle as the Highline Quartet played classical renditions of the couples’ favorite songs.

The Reception

The Glasshouse Chelsea’s sleek and minimalistic design served as a blank canvas for the couple’s creative vision. Lush floral arrangements by Fleurissimo adorned the tables, with blooms and candlelight creating a sophisticated romantic ambiance. Guests were treated to a culinary journey that delighted the senses. From mouthwatering hors d’oeuvres to an incredible buffet display, every dish was a masterpiece crafted with love. The catering was done by  Mercato Cucina and Chef David Buico , who is actually a cousin of the couple, again creating the most loving environment for the couples long-awaited wedding day. As the evening progressed, the wedding reception transformed into a lively celebration of love and happiness. Jess and Neal danced their first dance to the iconic “A Whole New World” from Aladdin and were then joined by both sets of their parents who danced alongside the newlyweds. The dance floor became a stage where guests, fueled by the infectious energy of the occasion, moved to the rhythm of joy. The carefully curated playlist by Waistline Entertainment kept everyone on their feet, young and old. We were so lucky to be able to work with Scratch Studios for the first time who captured the whole day, from the first look at the couple’s apartment to the incredible dance party that ensued later on that evening, and the breathtaking sunset photos on the balcony of the Glasshouse. Alongside them, James Liu Films was there to catch the little moments, the glances and smiles as speeches and toasts were given, and the energy in the room as the lights went down and the music turned up.

The wedding of Jessica and Neal at the Glasshouse Chelsea was an ethereal experience, where love and celebration intertwined to create an unforgettable night. The venue’s captivating beauty, the impeccable florals and décor, the exquisite dining experience, and the joyous music and dance all came together to craft a celebration that will be cherished for a lifetime. It was well worth the wait from their 2020 intimate ceremony. As the couple embarks on their journey together, they carry with them the memories of this magical evening that us at Alinato were honored to be a part of. Best wishes to the happy couple!
