Picture it- a fall wedding in an iconic New York wedding venue in the heart of Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. When the trees finally start to change color, your first thought might be, “Fall is right around the
corner! Halloween, football season, Thanksgiving…”
But for those of us who work in the wedding industry…the brisk fall breeze and the colorful
leaves floating in the air means PEAK wedding season (specifically fall weddings). has. arrived.
So, how do you take advantage of one of the most beautiful times of the year in New York? You
get married at a stunning venue like The Boathouse at Prospect Park in Brooklyn! And that’s exactly what
Samantha and Jack did.
For some fall wedding inspiration- here’s a glimpse at their special day.
From the dock outside overlooking the bridge and the water, to the detailed architecture with
gorgeous double doors, to the dark wood grand staircase, guests were blown away by the view
both indoors and out.
Plus, I mean, who wouldn’t want the warm tones of foliage as the most perfect ceremony
backdrop – especially when complemented by that picturesque golden hour lighting?
And pulling in a fall wedding color palette for your florals and cake design can really seal the deal
and make for THE wedding of the season. The florals by A Lily Among Thornes was STUNNING.
