Nestled in Ridgewood New Jersey, The Felina provides a sleek and modern backdrop for couples seeking a truly magical wedding experience. In this blog, we’ll delve into the details of a beautiful Jewish wedding that unfolded at The Felina, capturing the essence of love, tradition, and celebration of Sarah and Sam.

Let us set the stage – a neoclassical bank turned chic restaurant and wedding venue, complete with black and white checkered floors, a beautiful mezzanine balcony overlooking the space, with unique light fixtures adorn the Felina. They are most well-known and celebrated throughout New Jersey for its exceptional Italian cuisine and delicious cocktails. These are just a few of the reasons this was the perfect venue for Sarah and Sam’s wedding. A significant moment in any Jewish wedding is the signing of the ketubah, a traditional marriage contract. The Felina’s intimate spaces allowed for this private ceremony, where the couple, along with their wedding party and parents gathered to sign this symbolic document just before walking down the aisle in front of all their friends and family. Sarah stunned guests with her gorgeous ballgown with pristine makeup by Lemondy as her father escorted her down the aisle to meet her handsome groom under the carefully crafted chuppah by One Flower by L. After the heartfelt ceremony and the I Do’s were said, guests were invited to the wraparound mezzanine of the Treasury room for cocktails while the catering team at the Felina and floral team worked their magic to turn the downstairs into a gorgeous reception space.

Once the space was transformed into an extravagant black and white affair adorned with impressive floral arrangements, guests were invited back downstairs for a delicious dinner complete with toasts and dancing. Lauren Spinelli Photos was the perfect photographer for Sarah and Sam’s vibe, she captured each moment beautifully and you can feel the love seeping out of the final photos. That’s one thing there was no shortage of on this day – love. Sarah and Sam had a good handful of people giving toasts to the newlyweds, and each one spoke to the uniquely beautiful love this couple shared, and the love of their family and friends is in no short supply. Each toast was expertly captured by the ever talented James Liu Films. As the day turned into night, the The Benjamins played until all the guests were off their feet, dancing with joy in celebration of the Goldfarb’s. Of course, no Jewish wedding is complete without the traditional Hora, which could go one of two ways – absolutely perfect, or with the bride or groom slipping off the chair. In true wedding excitement, these groomsmen got a bit carried away when throwing the couple in the air however they quickly recovered in time to keep the party going into the late night.

Sarah and Sam were ushered a goodbye through a tunnel of sparklers, which wouldn’t have been complete without a fun and chic outfit change for our lovely bride. From now until the end of time, Sarah and Sam will be able to look back on the gorgeous photos and emotional wedding video and relive the excitement and love they, and all around them, felt on this day.

Thank you to all the vendors who made this an exceptional day, and to Sarah and Sam for trusting us at Alinato with your wedding, it was a pleasure!
